Hello Yardbarker World!
It's your boy D Bowe and I'm in KC getting ready for camp.  My bags are packed and I am ready to get back to work and back on the grind.  
I'm excited to be back with my teammates and our new coaching staff.  I think we have a lot to offer and a lot to look forward to.  We are very focused and very humble and ready to compete.
My actions are going to speak louder than words this season so I hope you like what you see.

I hope you are all having a blessed weekend. Mine has been straight. We had mini camp which kept me busy and challenged but I also fit in a little fun with my fans!

On Friday night, Matt Cassel and I attended a Sprint Palm Pre VIP Party at a local Sprint store here in KC. I signed autographs, mingled with fans and also got introduced to the Palm Pre. If you haven't seen this phone yet GO SEE IT NOW! You know I had to pick up one before I left!

I am watching the NBA Finals right now, relaxing my body and catching up with the new yardbarker!

What's good YB's? I'm back in KC, back on my grizzy trying to get the Show on the road. I had a good off season but I am ready for some football!

A few weeks back, I held my first charity weekend in my hometown of Miami, Fl. During the weekend events, my alma mater, Miami Norand Senior High retired my #80 jersey which was a special moment for me. My family and friends attended the event and we had an assembly for the students which was a good time for all. I also hosted the Un-Bowe-Lievable Family Fun Day at a local park. I wanted a carnival type theme so we had inflatables, face painting, clowns and we even had a flag football game. The weekend was a lot of hard work, but a success.

Some good news on my end, my non-profit organization fund has been formed! My fund is called, The Un-Bowe-Lievable Foundation Fund and proceeds from this fund will go towards the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren programs both in KC and Miami as well towards my friend Frankie's rehab process. What's Up YB's? I wanted to check in with you all and let you know what your boy has been up to.

I spent the day with members of the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren charity that I have partnered with to kick off their Spring Break Festivities. The goals of the event today were to teach the children the importance of education, believing in themselves and the importance of saying no to negative things that come in their lives.

I stressed to each of the kids I spoke to that dreams can come true. I was in their same shoes a few years back and I fought and I never gave up and I am achieving my goals and dreams but it takes hard work and lots of dedication.

Life isn't easy and we might be dealt some tough cards but its how we play those cards..

I want to thank the kids for making me feel at home. Thanks for listening and for letting me be a part of their life. I see good things for all of them in the future...very good things.
